About us

We're three engineers who previously worked together on Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) student team Splitter. We're building Rigidbody because we believe large-scale operations and fine-grained insight into them aren't incompatible.

    Rafael Marques Isakov

    Business Strategist

    Rafael holds a BSc in Chemical Engineering and is wrapping up an MSc in Innovation Management at TU/e, giving him both the technical grounding to understand industrial systems and the framework to turn that into a scalable business. His experience with VC firm DeepTechXL and as founder of The InterGrowth Academy shapes how Rigidbody builds its case for funding and partnerships.

    Charlie Johnston

    AI/ML Lead

    Final-year BSc Computer Science & Engineering student at TU/e and student council representative for the Energy Transition Honors Track. Charlie is passionate about machine learning, having applied AI throughout his studies and in his work with HERE Technologies and SMART Photonics. As AI/ML lead and principal software engineer, he's designing the AI systems powering Rigidbody.

    Alex Udrea

    Control Systems Engineer

    Alex holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and is pursuing an MSc in Mechatronic Systems Design at TU/e. He understands complex physical systems from both an operational and modelling perspective, and ensures Rigidbody's software is safe, reliable, and validated through prototype testing. This mix of technical depth and hands-on engineering turns Rigidbody into a robust, scalable solution.
